The International Trade Council (ITC) was developed to provide a forum for members with interests in international trade. The Council offers educational, programming and networking opportunities for these members. It also creates communications links with businesses and contacts overseas. Programs

• The ITC holds international trade programs of interest to the general membership.
• The ITC works with the U.S. Department of Commerce to hold one-on-one sessions between a representative of the Department's Export Assistance Office in Connecticut and a member interested in exporting.
• The ITC, on behalf of the Chamber, hosts foreign business delegations visiting Stamford through Chamber contacts.
• The ITC participates in international events occurring in the community.
