The Stamford International Trade Resource Program (SITREP) is an export counseling program designed for small and medium sized businesses in lower Fairfield County that are new to exporting or have limited exporting experience.
Export Counseling
Participants in the SITREP program receive counseling and direction related to their international business plans and requirements, and includes:

- Partner Program Direction
- Partner Program Preparation
SITREP counseling also helps prepare the participant to work successfully with the most appropriate export assistance programs offered by federal, state and local governmental agencies and entities.

SITREP is an initiative of the International Trade Council (ITC) of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. The ITC consists of experienced global business professionals trained to counsel SITREP participants in the requirements of the partner agency programs.
The International Trade Council is a City-State Partner with the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
